Air Canada, citing rising fuel costs, will charge Tango and Tango Plus passengers an extra $25 for checking a second bag effective May 15 for travel on or after July 15, on flights within Canada and the U.S. including Hawaii. The move puts Air Canada in line with several U.S. carriers including Continental, Delta, Northwest, United and US Airways who made similar announcements last week. The baggage allowance for travel to and from countries other than Canada and the U.S. is also unchanged.
